Perforated Sheet

What is Perforated Sheet?

Perforated Sheet also known as Perforated Metal and Perforated Plate is a form of metal sheet that has been punched or stamped with an automatic or manual machine to create a pattern of holes. Perforated Sheet is available in a wide range of different sizes, materials and thicknesses dependant on the application requirements. There are endless different hole sizes and patterns available.

Perforated Sheet Characteristics

There are two ways in which we supply Perforated Sheet:

Nominal Unperforated Border all 4 sides

This is where a nominal unperforated border of approx. 20-25mm is visible on all 4 sides of the perforated sheet. This is because sheet metal has been used to make the perforated sheet and the perforating machine requires this unperforated border so that it can clamp the material during the process. This results in a even pattern on all 4 sides.

Nominal Unperforated Border on 2 sides

This is where a nominal unperforated border of approx. 20-25mm is visible only on the length of the panel. This is because a raw material coil has been used to manufacture the perforated sheet and after perforating the coil it is then cut to the required sizes, resulting in the top and bottom (width) of the panel having no border and finishing on a hole pattern.
